Mitons

Description:

The use of mittens can be seen very extended during the seccond fourth of the 15th C. to beyond. It was oftenly used by infantry who wanted to protect his hand during the use of pikes and halberds. Of course knights also used mitten gauntlets, but it´s use seems very favored by the mercenaries and foot soldiers of the 15th C.
