The original helm of Sir Richard Pembridge was designed to be worn over a Bascinet or Cervelliere as it was the habit for most knights of that time. But our replica has been designed to be easily worn directly on your head; thanks to its interior padding that will both protect you from the impacts of the blows targeting your helmet and help keep it stable on your head. It is HANDMADE from MILD STEEL (available in both 14gauge and 16gauge), making it fully functional. The helmet is lined with a comfortable padded liner that acts as an excellent shock absorber. An approximate circumference of 72 cm allows it to FIT MOST HEADS. Note: This product is carefully coated with a layer of oil when packaged that acts as a temporary (protective) layer against corrosion (rust), which can easily be wiped off using any oil remover or even a dry cloth.
